PTA Membership

All parents, grandparents, guardians, relatives living in the area, faculty and staff are encouraged to join. PTA membership helps support activities, programs, and special events for the students

and faculty throughout the year. Although participation is always appreciated, PTA membership does not require you to visit or volunteer at our school. Membership costs $10.00 for

each joining member and the form can be downloaded from our PTA website: www.falconcovepta.com and send to school with your student!

FLIGHT OF THE FALCONS

Please send your neatly clipped Box Tops in a plastic baggie with your child's name written on it. There is a drop box in the Administrative Office (first doors on the right when entering the main building. There will be monthly drawings and prizes! Students will receive 5 Falcon Feathers for every 10 Box Tops submitted at the Birdhouse, every Wednesday in the Cafeteria. They can 'shop' for fun prizes and treats using the 'feathers'! Let the PTA recycle your empty ink cartridges (HP, Lexmark, and Dell).

November 4

The PTA's one and only fundraiser of the year is a carnival during school hours. Students attend during one class period and enjoy great music, activities, and treats. The minimum contribution to attend the carnival is $25, but larger contributions earn more prizes! Please ask family members and friends to help your school and please do not go door to door asking strangers!

We are requesting goods and/or services to be given as prizes to students who participate in the Flight of the Falcon fundraiser. The kids especially appreciate gift certificates from restaurants, stores, movie theatres, Gameworks, iTunes, Target, etc. (Please attach receipt to gift cards!) If you would like to donate, please contact Lisa or Lynne at Fundraising@FalconCovePTA.com or drop it off at the school office in an envelope addressed to Falcon Cove PTA. Remember all donations are tax deductible and we can prepare a letter for your company as a donation receipt.

The Birdhouse is now open! Students can use their "Falcon Feathers" to 'buy' fun goodies at the Birdhouse every Wednesday in the Cafeteria! Teachers and Administrators give out the Falcon Feathers as rewards ... tell your kids to ask about them! (We will accept last year's feathers until the end of the month. Starting in October, we will only accept the newly designed yellow feathers.) The cafeteria offers ice cream treats for sale (.65 each) every Wednesday during lunchtimes.

The PTA will begin selling candy after final bell on Monday. Candies are $1 each. JuiceBlendz will be at the school on Thursday selling smoothies. $2 for 8 ounces and $4 for 16 ounces. Sales will continue daily, throughout the year and proceeds benefit the end of the year 8th Grade Dance!

Falcon Cove welcomes and appreciates all of its awesome volunteers!! As we begin another year, please be reminded that all volunteers must register annually at www.getinvolvedineducation.com/volunteers/ Registration takes just a few minutes. If you register with another school listed as your 'primary', please bring a photocopy of your badge to Falcon Cove because the system does not share information between schools. Once we have you listed as 'approved' at Falcon Cove, you will begin to receive information about the MANY volunteer opportunities.
